Lace front wigs usually have laces from ear to ear. These
hairpieces have a realistic looking hairline. They also have a lace at the
neck’s nape allowing the wearer to wear the hair extension in a high plait. The
rest of the portion of the wig cap is made from a stretch monofilament
or some other kind of material.
Full lace wigs have lace fronts, lace caps and lace naps.
They are generally made from Swiss, French or a stretch lace. Sometimes all
these materials are combined to make a full lace wig. This kind of wig
is usually affixed all around the border and worn in a high plait.
Both these kinds of hair extension pieces are 100% knotted
and tied by hand. There are many online wig stores that offer bleached knots at
front hairline and crown to give a natural look to the scalp. Sometimes you
will also find the terms full lace wig and lace front wig being used
interchangeably.
